Seattle Design Center is the high-end destination for custom home furnishings in the Pacific Northwest. They have over 80 showrooms in two buildings representing over 17,000 manufacturers. With such a large and diverse location, strong branding is essential to provide a unifying feel to it’s on and offline presence.
.advancedMethod first produced an interactive touchscreen digital signage system for the Seattle Design Center in 2003 to act as a way-finder. Seeing the success of the product, the San Francisco Design Center, Boston Design Center and Pacific Market Center followed suit and installed similar systems.
Each of these multiple-screen digital signage solutions are database driven meaning that as materials are added to the extensive databases, content is automatically updated. When the screens are not being used in their interactive capacity, advertisements and event information are displayed promoting the Centers and local attractions.
Our long-term relationship with the Centers is one of our greatest achievements. The scope and variety of the work we've done for them has pushed the boundaries of technology at times and is a testament to the range of expertise .advancedMethod provides. It is also a testament to their good taste, if I may say so myself. |
