.advancedMethod has been designing and producing digital signage systems since 2002. In the technology timescale that works out to around 50 years. With a background in interactive, our first focus was in producing small scale, high functioning digital signage rollouts across the country. Our new digital signage product, express, combines this high quality content management with the scalability of an off-the-shelf product and the ease of use we and our customers always wanted.
Our digital signage product, express, lowers the barrier of entry to get high-end professional results. First shown at InfoComm in Summer of 2008 and launched in early 2009, express is a game-changer. From the changing looks of our competitors’ websites they have heard what we have been saying. Since its launch, express has been so successful that our staff has doubled, making .advancedMethod a rare recession era success story.
In this area of our site you will find all the resources you need to understand our success and find out what makes our people and products so interesting.

In August of 2002 Devin Imamura, Jennifer Jantzen, and Eric Johnson formed .advancedMethod. Devin's intern at the time, David Alkire, became their first employee. The team sensed the future and potential of the broadband-powered internet as a true business tool and focused their combined talents on innovative Flash, eVideo and sound development for the web.
Perfecting their skills, they acquired their first large client; AT&T. AT&T was followed by Philip’s Medical, Concur Technologies and Pemco. The newly formed company continued to refine eVideo and quickly added distinguished clients such as AOL, Nextel and the Seattle Seahawks.
Determined to diversify the company’s offerings, the team set their sights on interactive signage in developing a cutting edge touch screen signage system for Seattle Design Center. Still running strong after 6 years, the touch screen system was the first of its kind to be connected to a central database and won the company great acclaim and a highly coveted DIGI Award. Out of this .advancedMethod’s customer centric focus came the express digital signage system.
In 2008, express attracted the attention of EIKI International. Finding synergies .advancedMethod was purchased and put into a new entity called EIKI Digital Systems/.advancedMethod. Robert Grawet was added as General Manager and J. Scott Campbell was brought on board to manage brand and creative. The express system was finished in January 2009 and has steadily been delivering product to hospitality, a major telecomm, and other customers across the United States and Canada with German and Japanese release scheduled for March 2009. EIKI Digital Systems/.advancedMethod continues to develop their extensive dealer network, products and services. |
